Instant Standard
WSFUNDED provides immediate access to a funded account, allowing you to start trading without delay. To make the most of this opportunity, it is essential to have a flexible trading strategy and a solid risk management plan.
Instant Funding – Standard Model
WSFUNDED's Standard Instant Funding Model provides immediate access to a funded account, with specific rules designed to manage trading risks and profits.
Account Violations (Hard Breach)
All instant funding models operate with a trailing drawdown.
A hard breach occurs when a trader violates a fundamental risk management rule, such as exceeding the maximum daily loss or the maximum overall drawdown. These violations result in the immediate closure of the account.
Maximum Daily Loss – 3%
How is it calculated?
The daily loss limit is calculated at 17:00 New York time (ET), at market close.
If there are open positions, account equity is used, including floating profits or losses. If there are no open positions, the closed balance is used as the reference.
The maximum permitted daily loss is equivalent to 3% of the initial account balance.
Example:
On a $50,000 account, the maximum permitted daily loss is $1,500. If the reference balance at the start of the day is $50,000, the account must not fall below $48,500 without breaching this rule.
Maximum Overall Drawdown – 6% (Trailing)
Instant Standard accounts use a trailing drawdown. This means that the maximum loss threshold increases as the account reaches new balance highs.
The drawdown amount is equivalent to 6% of the initial account balance and remains fixed in monetary terms.
As the trader generates profits and reaches new balance highs, the breach level also rises, following the highest balance achieved.
If the balance falls to the established limit, the account may enter a hard breach.
👉 Key point:
The trailing drawdown only moves upwards when new balance highs are reached. It never moves downwards, even if losses occur afterwards.
This requires consistent risk management, as profits also increase the minimum capital level that must be maintained.
AFTER A WITHDRAWAL
The breach level does not decrease or become locked at any point after a profit withdrawal.
If a trader wishes to continue trading after a withdrawal, they must maintain a sufficient safety buffer between the remaining balance and the breach level.
Otherwise, any loss or commission that brings the account balance to or below the breach level, depending on the account rules, may trigger a hard breach.
Example 1 – Instant Standard (6% Trailing)
A trader has a $100,000 account and reaches a maximum balance of $103,000, generating $3,000 in profit.
The trader decides to withdraw the full $3,000 profit.
Calculation:
- Initial balance: $100,000
- Highest balance reached: $103,000
- Permitted drawdown (6% of initial balance): $6,000
- Breach level: $97,000
- Withdrawal: $3,000
- Balance after withdrawal: $100,000
- Remaining buffer: $3,000
After the withdrawal, the account retains a $3,000 buffer above the breach level. The trader may continue trading provided all risk limits are respected.
Example 2 – Instant Standard (6% Trailing)
A trader has a $100,000 account and reaches a maximum balance of $106,000, generating $6,000 in profit.
The trader decides to withdraw the full $6,000 profit.
Calculation:
- Initial balance: $100,000
- Highest balance reached: $106,000
- Permitted drawdown: $6,000
- Breach level: $100,000
- Withdrawal: $6,000
- Balance after withdrawal: $100,000
- Remaining buffer: $0
After the withdrawal, the account balance is exactly at the breach level.
The trader has no remaining buffer to absorb losses or commissions. Therefore, any negative movement that takes the balance below this level would trigger a hard breach.
Example 3 – Instant Standard (6% Trailing)
A trader has a $100,000 account and reaches a maximum balance of $107,000, generating $7,000 in profit.
At this point, the breach level is $101,000.
The trader continues trading and loses $3,000, reducing the account balance to $104,000.
Although the balance has decreased, the breach level remains at $101,000 because the trailing drawdown never moves downwards.
The trader has $4,000 in accumulated profit and must decide how much to withdraw.
Scenario A – $3,000 withdrawal
- Balance after withdrawal: $101,000
- Breach level: $101,000
- Remaining buffer: $0
The account would be exactly at the breach level, with no room to absorb losses or commissions. Any further negative movement could trigger a hard breach.
Scenario B – $2,000 withdrawal
- Balance after withdrawal: $102,000
- Breach level: $101,000
- Remaining buffer: $1,000
The account would remain above the breach level, leaving a $1,000 buffer for continued trading.
Scenario C – $1,500 withdrawal
- Balance after withdrawal: $102,500
- Breach level: $101,000
- Remaining buffer: $1,500
The account would remain active, retaining a $1,500 buffer above the breach level after the withdrawal is approved.
This scenario provides a larger safety buffer for continued trading.
Maximum Loss per Trading Idea
You must not risk more than 1% of your initial account balance on a single trading idea.
Example:
On a $50,000 account, the maximum permitted risk per trading idea is $500.
News Trading
On simulated funded accounts, opening new trades or closing existing positions on instruments affected by high-impact (red-folder) economic events is prohibited during an 8-minute restricted window.
This window covers:
- The 4 minutes before the news release.
- The 4 minutes after the news release.
This restriction applies to both manually executed and automated trades.
Any profits generated through trades that breach this rule may be deducted from the account. In certain circumstances, an account reset may also be necessary.
Affected instruments
The restriction only applies to instruments directly related to the economic event.
For example, a significant EUR news release does not prevent trading XAU/USD if that instrument is not affected by the event.
Positions opened before the news
You may open a position before the restricted window begins, hold it during the announcement and close it once the window has ended.
This rule does not apply during the evaluation phases of our challenges. It only applies to simulated funded accounts.
You can check high-impact economic events using the following calendar:
FxStreet
We recommend checking the full economic calendar before trading to identify all relevant announcements.
Profit Withdrawals
Traders can request profit withdrawals directly from their dashboard.
- First withdrawal: after 15 days.
- Subsequent withdrawals: every 10 days.
There is no fixed minimum withdrawal amount. The amount available for withdrawal depends on accumulated profits and compliance with the consistency rule.
Consistency – 30%
To request a withdrawal from an Instant Standard account, traders must meet a 30% consistency requirement.
This means that the most profitable trading day must not account for more than 30% of the total accumulated profit.
Example:
If total accumulated profit is $3,500, the maximum profit from a single day for consistency purposes is $1,050.
Consistency formula:
(Most profitable day / Current total account profit) × 100
Calculation Example – $10,000 Account
Step 1: Calculate total accumulated profit
Add the results from all trading days, including any losing days.
518 + 497 + 508 + 459 + 492 + 520 + 506 = $3,500
Step 2: Calculate 30% of total profit
$3,500 × 0.30 = $1,050
This is the maximum amount the best trading day may contribute in order to meet the consistency requirement.
Step 3: Calculate the consistency score
($520 / $3,500) × 100 = 14.86%
Result:
The consistency score is 14.86%, below the permitted 30% threshold.
Therefore, the trader meets the consistency rule and may request a withdrawal, provided all other requirements are also met.
Minimum Profitable Trading Days
At least 4 profitable trading days are required before requesting a withdrawal.
To qualify, each profitable day must generate a minimum profit equivalent to 0.5% of the initial account balance.
Mandatory Stop-Loss (SL)
Every trade must have a Stop-Loss (SL).
Traders have a maximum of 2 minutes from opening a trade to set the corresponding Stop-Loss.
Failure to comply may result in the measures established under the trading rules.
Mandatory Stop-Loss (SL) and Take-Profit (TP) During News Events
All positions that remain open during high-impact economic events must have predefined Stop-Loss (SL) and Take-Profit (TP) levels.
This requirement does not override the restrictions on opening or closing positions during the designated news window.
